Bottle conditioned beers are matured by secondary fermentation in the bottle. Active yeast in this bottle will gradually add natural carbonation. For best results, store upright before you are ready to drink. Serve slightly chilled or at room temperature, pouring slowly into a glass to avoid disturbing the sediment.

This is an old English style ale with a twist, an addition of black treacle in the boil. The legend of the Chobham treacle mines dates back to the 1800s when it is said that the army buried a large amount of wooden barrels of molasses. The barrels subsequently rotted and the molasses oozed from the ground.
A dark full bodied beer with lots of toffee & liquorice notes.

The saison beer style began as a pale ale brewed in the cooler, less active months in farmhouses in the Wallonia region of Belgium and stored for drinking in the summer months. Brewing during the cooler months provided work for permanent staff in the quieter period. After brewing, the beer was stored until the summer when the main consumers would be seasonal workers, "saisonniers". Saisons are generally fruity and spicy. This Saison was produced in collaboration with Thierry at Cellar Magneval in Woking and we trust you will enjoy it.

VIPA is a Vermont style IPA. It is on the soft side with its mouthfeel, has a bright golden colour and hazy, cloudy appearance to the eyes. The hop flavour and aroma is slightly more pronounced and the bitterness is dialled back, allowing for a balance between the malt and the hops. Thurstons VIPA is a refreshing, juicy flavoured beer that is unique and incredibly drinkable.
